Yes. Changes are confirmed in your AI assistant first, and higher-risk changes require a typed confirmation. MatterLynx also maintains a structured operational audit trail.

Security
Clio remains your system of record. MatterLynx retrieves case information only when an authorized user asks, passes it over encrypted connections between Clio and the firm's chosen AI assistant, and does not maintain a permanent copy of client or matter content.
When a workflow requires temporary storage, that information is encrypted at rest and scheduled for deletion under published retention limits. MatterLynx does not use client or matter data to train AI models.

Clio OAuth tokens use AES-256-GCM encryption. Hosted and temporary data is encrypted at rest and protected by HTTPS/TLS in transit.

MatterLynx never receives your Clio password. Each person connects their own account, and Clio keeps enforcing their existing permissions.
Temporary
Case content is processed on demand. Temporary workflow data is scheduled for deletion under the limits published in our Privacy Policy.

Consequential changes require confirmation, with a typed confirmation for higher-risk actions.
Independent assurance at the infrastructure layer
MatterLynx's core hosting, database, and identity providers maintain SOC 2 Type II reports or attestations. Its hosting and database providers also hold ISO 27001:2022 certifications.
These reports and certifications cover the named infrastructure providers, not MatterLynx. MatterLynx itself has not yet completed a SOC 2 audit.
