Subprocessors and Connected Services

• Vercel — website and application hosting, serverless processing, private upload staging, web analytics, and performance measurement.
• Neon — managed Postgres database for accounts, connections, signup and audience records, operational and file-transfer metadata, retry records, and temporary Matter Review job data.
• Clerk — sign-in, sessions, organization membership, and assistant authorization. Sign-in and signup pages link to MatterLynx's legal notices.
• Sentry — server error and reliability monitoring. MatterLynx filters selected request data and known credential patterns from error reports before sending them.
• Slack — private operational alerts and aggregate service reports intended to exclude case content.
• Resend — transactional and permitted marketing email delivery, contact storage, unsubscribe and suppression handling, and audience groups based on signup, account, and connected-provider status. Audience groups do not contain client or matter content or OAuth token values.
• Stripe — customer, subscription, invoice, and payment processing. MatterLynx does not store full card numbers.

Clio and Lawmatics are customer-connected practice and intake systems and remain the systems of record. MatterLynx sends requests using each person's own authorization for the selected provider. Lawmatics is currently available only to administrators in both MatterLynx and Lawmatics.

The AI assistant provider you select, such as ChatGPT or Claude, receives the instructions and information needed for your request. Its terms, privacy settings, retention, training choices, and subprocessors are separate from MatterLynx. Your firm is responsible for choosing an appropriate provider, plan, and configuration.

Mailbox and file services you select may supply original emails, attachments, or documents through your assistant. For example, a customer-selected Composio connection can supply a supported attachment download. Composio is optional; MatterLynx does not require it or establish a direct Gmail or Outlook mailbox connection. These services and their storage providers handle data under their own terms. When a source cannot supply a supported download, you can select the original file in MatterLynx's upload card.

Meta receives limited website and setup-request measurement data for United States visitors when measurement is allowed. This may include a page URL, event time, hashed work email after a successful setup-instruction request, IP address, browser user agent, and Meta browser or click identifiers. It does not include signup answers, client data, matter data, or privileged text. Visitors can opt out through Your Privacy Choices or Global Privacy Control.

Vercel provides separate website analytics and performance measurement. Your Privacy Choices and MatterLynx's handling of Global Privacy Control apply to first-party marketing measurement and Meta, not these separate Vercel tools or email subscriptions.

Google/YouTube hosts the optional product walkthrough. MatterLynx loads the embedded player and player API after you click to play. The embed uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, but playback still connects your browser to Google/YouTube and is governed by its privacy practices. Your Privacy Choices does not disable the player.

A provider listed here is not necessarily a legal subprocessor in every situation; Clio, Lawmatics, your selected AI assistant, and customer-selected mailbox or file services are generally services your firm directs or uses in a connected workflow.
